I’m Trae, a cybersecurity professional deeply focused on threat intelligence, threat hunting, and digital investigations. My work centers on uncovering adversary tactics and behaviors across diverse environments, especially those targeting high-net-worth individuals and executives. From phishing campaigns and SIM swaps to remote access tools and credential stuffing, I track threats where they live — often before they strike.

By day, I’m a Triage Specialist at a remote concierge cybersecurity firm, where I lead frontline investigations into suspicious emails, malware infections, and endpoint anomalies. I don’t just respond to incidents — I help clients understand why they happened, how to contain them, and what to watch for next. My work directly informs broader detection and protection strategies.

I hold multiple GIAC certifications (GCIH, GSEC, GFACT) along with Security+, and I’ve built a purpose-driven home lab using ESXi, pfSense, and Security Onion — where I simulate attacks, capture adversary traffic, and test detection logic. Whether it’s identifying infrastructure in a phishing campaign or enriching IOCs with OSINT, I approach every investigation with curiosity and rigor.

Outside of work, I’m all about keeping life balanced. I stay active, try new recipes in the kitchen, and spend quality time with my fiancée. I’m also a huge fan of video games and Formula 1. I’m excited about traveling to more races in the future!
